5 Cheese Pasta Bake

  • 400 g cooked pasta
  • 30 g butter
  • 30 g plain flour
  • 500 ml milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chopped parsley
  • 6 bacon rashers, cooked and chopped
  • 100 g grated Monterey Jack (or cheddar).
  • 100 g grated mozzarella
  • 100 g creamy herb cheese
  • 100 g stilton, crumbled
  • 100 g grated parmesan
  • 100 g parmesan
  • 50 g breadcrumbs



Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190c.
Place the cooked pasta in a dish. In a saucepan, melt the butter then add the flour. Cook out for 1 minute then gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened slightly. Season.
Add the parsley and bacon to the sauce along with the mozzarella, cheddar, stilton and Monterey Jack. Stir well then add to the pasta and thoroughly coat.
Top the bake with the parmesan cheese and the breadcrumbs. Back for 20 minutes.
