Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts, skinned, halved and boned
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 2 t celery salt
  • 2 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 c dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c sesame seeds
  • 1/4 c butter, melted

Step 1

Cut chicken crosswise into 1/2" wide strips. In large bowl, combine sour cream, lemon juice, celery salt, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic; mix well. Add chicken to the sour cream mixture and coat it well. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.

Heat oven to 350. Lightly grease a baking sheet. In medium bowl, combine bread crumbs and sesame seeds. Remove chicken strips from sour cream mixture, roll in crumb mixture, coating evenly. Arrange in single layer in prepared pan. Spoon butter evenly over chicken. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes until chicken is tender and golden brown. Serve with Mustard Sauce, if desired.
