  • 3 C flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp yeast
  • 1 1/2 c warm water

Preparation

Step 1

Stir flour, salt, yeast and water until combined. Cover with plastic wrap and set at room temp for 8-24 hours. Turn dough out on to well floured surface and form into ball. Rest for 30 minutes.
In meantime, place baking dish with high sides into the oven and preheat to 450. slash "X" on top of bread. Carefully transfer to baking dish and cover.
Bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10-15 minutes more until golden brown. Cool, slice.
