Ingredients
- 2 Cups of Flour
- 1 Cup of Cream Cheese
- 1 Cup of Softened Butter
- 1 Tablespoon of Milk
- 1 Tablespoon of Sour Cream
- 1 Teaspoon of Sugar
- 1/8 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- 1 Pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1
1.) Beat cream cheese, butter, sour cream, and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
2.) Stir in flour
3.) On a floured surface, knead the dough with your hands until it's smooth.
4.) Chill the dough in the refrigerator for three hours or over night.
5.) Place the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface and use a rolling pin to smooth the dough until it's about an 1/8 of an inch in thickness.
6.) Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into 3-inch squares.
7.) Use a desired jam or other fillings.
8.) Place crescent shaped kiflis on a cookie sheet.
9.) Bake kiflis at 350 degrees for 10-20 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn golden brown color.
