Ingredients

  • Poppy Seed Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup grapeseed oil, safflower oil or olive oil
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tblsp cider vingar
  • 1 tsp grated lime zest
  • 2 tblsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tblsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • Salad:
  • 2 oranges peeled, seeded and sectioned
  • 1 red apple, chopped
  • 1.5 cups broccoli florets, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup seedless red or green grapes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup pecans coarsely chopped and toasted​

Step 1

Directions:

Combine salad ingredients (not pecans) and add dressing; gently toss to coat; cover and refrigerate for AT LEAST 2 HOURS (makes a difference!). Sprinkle with pecans just before serving.
