Peanut Butter Cookies

I got this from friend and co-worker Laura Rodekuhr. Her notes say St. Mary's Hospital. It is a peanut butter cookie but works well as a Hershey Kiss cookie.

Ingredients

• 1 c. Sugar (7.1)
• 1/2 c. Brown Sugar (3.5)
• 1 c. Shortening or Butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 c. + 2 T Peanut Butter (20.8)
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. Flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream Sugars and Shortening. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Mix dry ingredients and add together. Mix well. Drop by tsp on cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. If making as Hershey Kiss, form into balls, can roll in sugar, bake in a ball and use the kiss after taking out of oven to flatten.
Bake 350 8-10 minutes
