Manhattan Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar Apricot Preserves
  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Combine meat, crumbs, onions, eggs, parsley and salt; mix lightly. Shape into 1” meatballs. Brown in margarine. Place in 2 quart casserole. Combine preserves and barbecue sauce; pour over meatballs. Bake at 350°, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Approximately 4-1/2 dozen.
