Layered Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. dark red kidney beans
  • 4 oz. green chiles, chopped & drained
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 16 oz. salsa
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 6 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Sliced jalapenos for garnishing

Preparation

Step 1

Using electric mixer, mash kidney beans.

In medium bowl, mix together kidney beans, green chiles, and taco seasoning mix.

Spread mixture into a 12-inch round aluminum pie pan.

Layer with salsa, then sour cream.

Top with cheese, then jalapeno slices.
