Grandma's White Cake

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup Crisco
• 1 2/3 cup sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 cup cold water
• 4 egg whites
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• 1/2 flour
• 3 tsp baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream Crisco and Sugar
2. Add Alternately 2 cups flour/1 cup cold water
3. Add egg whites, vanilla, & lemon juice
4. Add extra flour and baking powder last
5. Beat batter for 5 minutes
6. Bake @ 350 for 30-40 Minutes 9X12 pan
