Bourbon Balls*

Ingredients

  • 3 cups finely crushed vanilla wafer cookies
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbs. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecan halves
  • 3 tbs. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • chocolate
  • powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa, nuts, corn syrup and bourbon.
2. Mix well and shape into 1 inch balls.
3. Roll in powdered sugar.
4. Chill in refrigerator until well set, about 1 to 2 hours.
5. Melt chocolate, the kind for dipping strawberries found in the produce department. Dip balls in chocolate, and chill again.
