Ingredients

  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 Tbs. cloves
  • 20 cardamom seeds
  • 1 box cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 gallon muscatel
  • 1/2 gallon port wine (tawny port may be used)
  • 2 fifths your choice booze
  • 1 sliced orange
  • 1/2 box raisins
  • 1 sm. bag slivered almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first set of ingredients together, and boil for 1/2 hour.

Put wine and booze in a large stock pot and heat through. Strain liquid from spices and add to the booze.

Before serving add orange, raisins and almonds.

Serve warm.
