ICE CREAM****Butter Tart Affogato

02/01/17 - This was intended for Christmas dinner and of course we never got to it. It's very good, although not sure about the butter tart resemblance. Make sure you have enough ice cream for the amount of coffee & liqueur or cut the coffee in half for each serving.

Ingredients
- 4 shots espresso
- 2 ounces Maple Cream liqueur
- 4 scoops Maple Walnut or Rum Raisin ice cream (or combination - I had Maple Walnut and Salted Caramel)
Preparation
Step 1
Make a 1-oz shot of espresso for each serving of affogato directly into little stainless steel jugs. Add 1/2 ounce of maple cream liqueur to each. At the table, pour hot liquid around scoops of maple-walnut or rum-raisin ice cream in individual serving dishes or tea cups.
