Ingredients
- 9 oz. refrigerated fettuccine
- 1 tbsp. olive oil, divided
- 16 oz. shrimp, peeled
- 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup vodka
- 1 1/3 cups marinara sauce
- 1/3 cup fresh chopped basil
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Thaw shrimp, then drain.
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
Heat 1 1/2 tsp. oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp; sauté for 4 minutes or until done. Remove shrimp from pan.
Add 1 1/2 tsp oil and garlic to pan; sauté 1 minute. Carefully add vodka; cook 1 minute. Add marinara, basil (save some for garnish), cream, salt and pepper; bring to a simmer. Stir in pasta and shrimp. Sprinkle with remaining basil.
