Red Velvet Waffles

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/4 cups sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 4 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/4 cup butter, melted, cooled
• 2 cups buttermilk
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 tablespoons red food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

1 preheat waffle iron
2 spray w/ non-cooking spray
3 separate eggs.
4 beat egg whites until stiff.
5 mix dry ingredients togetherthen add wet.
6 mix all ingredients
7 fold in egg whites.
8 pour into waffle iron and cook until done.
