Blender Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 cup basil leaves, fresh; packed
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp pine nuts
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp romano cheese, grated
  • 3 Tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

Put the basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and salt in a food processor and process. Stop from time to time and scrape the ingredients down to the bottom. Pour into a bowl and add cheeses by hand. Beat in the butter.
