Hershey Bar Cake

  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1 lg Hershey bar
  • 1 1 lb can Hershey syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup pecans
  • frosting
  • 8 oz. Hershey bar
  • buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Cream 2 cups sugar 1/2lb butter

Heat 1 large Hershey bar & 1 can of Hershey syrup (1lb size) add to buttter.

Add 4 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla

Sift 2 1/2 cups flour and a 1/2 tsp. soda.

Alternate dry with 1 cup buttermilk & add 3/4 cups of pecans

Grease & flour a tube pan or 9x13 . Bake 2 hrs @300

Cool completely before removing from pan. Frost cake.

For frosting use an 8oz Hershey bar &enough buttermilk to make it a bit runny.
