Ingredients

  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded natural cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed olives
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1/3 cup enchilada or mild taco sauce
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 1 T prepared mustard
  • 1 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 unsliced loaf Vienna bread

Step 1

Mix together cheese, olives, eggs, enchilada sauce, onion, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Split bread in half lengthwise. Toast cut surfaces lightly under broiler. Spread cheese mixture over toasted surfaces, covering edges. Broil 5 inches from heat for 3-4 minute or until cheese melts and browns slightly. Garnish with small green pepper rings and tomato wedges, if desired. Makes 6-8 servings.
