Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 TBS vegetable oil
- 4 slices thick cut bacon (48slices regular bacon) (diced)
- 2 12 oz bags frozen Italian green beans (or 1 lb fresh green beans - trimmed)
- 3 TBS soy sauce
- 1/2 cup vegetable or chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil and butter and bacon in large skillet. Cook bacon until crispy. Add green beans, stir to coat with bacon grease. Add soy sauce and broth. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 30-45 minutes, or until green beans are soft. Stir periodically to ensure even cooking.
Crock Pot: Pour items from skillet into small crock pot. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
