Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C Sugar
  • 1 C Sour Cream
  • 1 Stick Margarine
  • 2 C Flout
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 1/2 C Bananas (about 3 big ones)
  • Icing
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 C Butter softened
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 C Confectioners Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


For Banana Bars:

Cream Sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time.

Stir in sour cream and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir into batter.

Mix in mashed bananas.

Pour into baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Cool completely.

For Icing:

Beat together softened cream cheese and butter.

Add vanilla and confectioners sugars.

Spread on banana bars and refrigerate.
