Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, or more to taste
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Drizzle oil into slow cooker. Salt and pepper both sides of the chicken and place it into the cooker.
Top chicken with onion, garlic, oregano, basil, rosemary, and thyme.
Drizzle the vinegar over chicken and pour tomatoes over top.
Cook on LOW for 2 - 2 1/4 hours to 165 degrees F.
There is plenty of sauce so serve over pasta.
