- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 6 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup chopped peppermint bark candy bars

Chocolate Peppermint Bark Sugar Cookie Bars. These easy cookie bars will disappear in a hurry from your Christmas cookie trays.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a 9x13 pan with foil and spray with nonstick spray.
Beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, and milk and beat again.
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add to the butter mixture until a dough forms.
Press the cookie dough evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 14 minutes. Remove and let cool completely.
Beat the butter, salt, and peppermint until creamy. Slowly add the powdered sugar and whipping cream until it is mixed in. Beat on high for 1-2 minutes or until it is fluffy.
Spread the frosting on top of the cooled cookie bars. Sprinkle with the candy bar pieces. Cut into 24 squares. Store in a sealed container.
