Ingredients
- 1 acorn squash
- 16 raisins
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1/4 lb brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Quarter the squash. Steam 14 minutes, or until tender. Remove to baking pan, skin side down. Place 4 raisins in the bowl of each piece of squash. Melt butter in saucepan. Remove butter from heat and add brown sugar, slowly whisking butter and sugar until smooth. Fold in maple syrup, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Add butter mixture over raisins in squash. Bake for 10 minutes.
