Christmas Meatballs

Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 2 eggs
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped dry cranberries
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- Sauce:
- 1 can (16 ounces) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons cider vinegar

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the eggs, soup mix, bread crumbs, cranberries and parsley. Crumble beef over mixture; mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
In a large pot combine sauce ingredients. Cook until heated through, mix with cooked meatballs. I like to keep them warm in a crock pot.
