Ingredients

  • 12 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
  • 12 slices bacon, cooked crisp
  • 2 cans (4 oz ea) sliced mushrooms
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cut up
  • 9 eggs
  • 3 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place 6 of the bread slices in the bottom of a greased 13 x 9 pan. Top with bacon, mushrooms, onion and velveeta. Cover with remaining bread.
2. Beat eggs and milk with wire whisk in large bowl util well blended; pour over bread. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight.
3. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until knife inserted i center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
