CHEESY CORN CASSEROLE

YUMMY! IF ANY OF YOU REMEMBEFR THE RESTAURANT CHEVYS--THESE TASTE EXACTLY LIKE THE LITTLE CORN BALLS THEY USED TO SERVE AS A SIDE WITH DINNER.

Ingredients

  • 1 CUP WHOLE KERNEL CORN.
  • 1 14 OZ CAN CREAM CORN
  • 1 PKG 8oz. JIFFY CORN MUFFIN MIX
  • 1 CUP SOUR CREAM
  • 1/2 CUP (1 STICK) BUTTER MELTED
  • 1 AND A HALF CUPS SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE

Preparation

Step 1

PRE HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES

IN LARGE BOWL STIR TOGETHER THE 2 CANS OF CORN, CORN MUFFIN MIX, SOUR CREAM,AND MELTED BUTTER. POUR INTO A GREASED 9 BY 13 INCH CASSEROLE DISH. BAKE 45 MIN. OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND TOP WITH CHEESE. RETURN TO OVEN FOR 5 TO 10 MIN OR UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED LET STAND AT LEAST 5 MIN AND THEN SERVE.
