Bourbon-Brown Sugar Venison Skewers

  • Marinade:
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 lb venison steak in thin slices
  • Wood skewers

Step 1

Mix all marinade ingredients in medium bowl. Put venison in a 1 gallon sealable bag and pour marinade over. Refrigerate one hour or longer. Thread meat on skewers and grill over medium heat 5 minutes per side. Do not overcook; venison should be rare.
