Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbs. butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbs. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- Raisins
Preparation
Step 1
Put yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Set aside. Warm up 1/2 cup milk. Melt butter in with milk (may use little more butter). Put together milk, butter, sugar and eggs. Gradually add flour. Now add yeast. Add raisins if desired. Mix together. Let rise at least double.
Spoon into hot oil . Not too hot, so klurtin will cook inside.
Sprinkle confectioners sugar on top while hot.
