tsp kosher salt
Tbsp fresh juice from limes
Tbsp minced red onion
Serrano chiles stemmed, seeded, and minced.
Tbsp. cilantro leaves and tender stems, finely chopped
Dash of freshly ground black pepper
ripe tomato, seeds and pulp removed, chopped and reserved
Slice avocados in half and remove seed. Using a spoon, scoop flesh into a medium bowl. Roughly mash with a fork. Stir in salt, lime juice, onion, chiles, and cilantro. Season to taste with black pepper. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve. stir in reserved tomato, and adjust seasonings if desired.
