Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (1/2 lb.) medium egg noodles
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1-1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash freshly ground pepper
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- finely chopped parsley
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook noodles in salted, boiling water as directed on label.
2. Meanwhile, melt butter in medium saucepan. Add 1 cup parmesan, the salt, pepper and cream; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until blended and fairly smooth.
3. Drain noodles well. Immediately add to cheese mixture, and toss until noodles are well coated.
4. Turn into heated serving dish: sprinkle with parsley and more parmesan cheese. Serve at once.
