Beef Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1/2-lb box elbow macaroni
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp garlic
  • 1-lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp each basil, cumin, oregano
  • 2 cups grated cheddar

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni, set aside. Heat oil in skillet; add peppers, onion and garlic, cook until tender. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, basil, cumin and oregano. In a large bowl combine macaroni and beef mixture. Spread mixture in 8 × 8 baking dish. Top with cheese and bake.

Bake 350* 20-25 minutes.
