Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups bowtie noodles
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 12 cups chicken broth, reduced salt
- 1-1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup carrots
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 cups cooked chicken, cooked
Preparation
Step 1
Bring large pot of water to boil. Add noodles and oil, cook noodles until soft. Drain and rinse under cool water. In large sauce pan combine broth, salt and poultry seasoning, bring to boil. Stir in celery, carrots and onion. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. In small bowl mix cornstarch and water until dissolved. Gradually add to soup, stirring constantly. Stir in noodles and chicken, heat and serve.
