Crescent and Sausage Breakfast sandwich

Incredibly easy and tasty breakfast sandwich, great as a grab and go!
Ingredients
- 2 pkgs crescent rolls
- 1 lb Bob Evans sage sausage (in the roll) or your favorite flavor
- 1 brick room temp cream cheese (8 oz)
- Season with your favorite hot sauce to taste. (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Brown the sausage in a skillet until crumbly and no loner pink. Drain off any grease.
Add a dash of salt and pepper (optional)
Blend in cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
Unroll 1 package of crescent rolls - (DO NOT SEPARATE) - on a baking sheet or in a 13 x 9 inch pan (coat pan with cooking spray). press the seams together so the seams are no longer perforated.
Spread the sausage mixture over the top, spread to cover the area leaving a 3/4" border around the edge.
Unroll the second package of crescent rolls, unfold and pinch seams together then lay on top the the sausage mixture, crimp the edges to seal. Cut a a couple of slits on the top for steam to escape.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
