Holiday Ham Glaze for 40 lbs of Ham

Ingredients

  • 4 CUP OF BROWN SUGAR
  • 20 OUNCE CAN OF DOLE CRUSHED PINEAPPLE RAN THROUGH A FOOD PROCESSOR
  • 24 OUNCE BOTTLE OF CLOVER HONEY
  • 2 TO 3 CUP OF APPLE JUICE ( I USE TREE TOP )
  • 1/4 TO 1/3 CUP GULDEN'S SPICY BROWN MUSTARD ( TO TASTE )
  • 1 TBSP GROUND CLOVES ( OPTIONAL )

Preparation

Step 1

PLACE ALL INGREDIENTS INTO A LARGE CROCK POT, TURN ON HIGH AND LET WARM UP, MIX THROUGHLY, ONCE WARM START YOU HAM AND LET IT COOK.. ONCE GLAZE IS WARM / HOT AND HALF WAY THROUGH COOKING YOUR HAMS START GLAZING.

HOME CURED HAMS:
START COOKING YOUR HAMS THEN START THE CURE.

PLACE ALL INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE CROCK POT AND TURN ON HIGH, STILL OCCASIONALLY.
PULL YOUR HAMS 5 DEGREES BEFORE DONE AND PLACE IN THE HOT GLAZE IN CROCK POT. EVERY 5 MINUTES TURN 90 DEGREES TO COAT THE HAM IN THE GLAZE,

ONCE HAM HAS WENT THROUGH THE GLAZING PROCESS SET BACK IN OVEN / GRILL AND LET CARAMELIZE. FOR SECOND COAT ROLL BRUSH ON GLAZE ON HAMS '
