Ingredients
- Cranberry Chutney
- Start to finish: 10 minutes,
- plus cooling
- Makes: 8 to 10 servings
- 12 ounce jar mango chutney
- 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- Triple fruit cranberry relish
- 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, chopped
- 1/2 cup orange (or apple) juice
- 1/2 cup black raisins
Preparation
Step 1
Cranberry Chutney
In a medium saucepan over
medium-high, combine all inredients.
Bring to a boil, then reduce
heat to medium and simmer for
10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat and let
stand or refrigerate until cooled
and thickened.
Triple fruit cranberry relish
Wash cranberries and place in a heavy saucepan
with apples, orange juice and raisins.
Simmer until cranberries start to "pop". Cover and stir
occasionally. Reduce heat and remove lid, continuing to stir, about 1/2 hour. Remove from heat,
let cool and store in a glass container.
Serves 16 as a condiment.
