Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons lemon extract
- 3/4 cup 7Up at room temperature
- LEMON GLAZE
- 1 cup powder sugar
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
heat oven to 325*
grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan
in a medium mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar together for 20 minutes
beat in eggs, 1 at a time
add four and lemon extract and beat well
fold in 7UP
pour batter into prepared pan
bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours
until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
cool in pan 15 minutes
then remove cake from pan to serving plate
GLAZE
combine powdered sugar & lemon juice, drizzle over cake
