Pumpkin Apple Cinnamon Cake with Caramel Drizzle

Ingredients

  • 1 box pumpkin cake mix, prepared as directed
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and chopped into small size chunks
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup cinnamon chips
  • 1 cup caramel bits (melts for baking), can use caramels
  • 2 tsp water

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Mix cake mix as directed on the box. Stir in apple chunks and cinnamon chips. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Cook for about 40-45 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes in pan, then turn out onto serving platter. Melt caramel with water in microwave until pouring/drizzling consistency. Pour over cooled cake.
