Apple Pancake Dippers

Ingredients

  • 4 apples, sliced (peeled if desired)
  • 1 batch favorite pancake batter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • Cooking spray or butter, for pan
  • 1/2 c. cinnamon sugar
  • Maple syrup, for dipping

Preparation

Step 1

Using a melon baller or small cookie cutter, scoop out core in apple slices.

Toss apple slices in pancake batter until totally coated.

Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, heat cooking spray or butter.

Add apples and cook undisturbed until bubbles form on pancake batter, 2 minutes. Flip and cook 2 minutes more.

Transfer apple pancakes to bowl of cinnamon sugar and toss while warm.

Serve with maple syrup.
