Potato & Ham Scallop

Ingredients

  • 2 cup cooked ham
  • 8 med potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp parsley finely snipped

Preparation

Step 1

Place half the ham in a 2 qt casserole. Cover with half the potatoes and half the onion. Stir half the flour over, season with salt and pepper. Repeat layering ham, potatoes and onion. Sift remaining flour on top. Pour milk over all. Bake covered, at 350° until potatoes are nearly tender to 1-1/4 hours. Uncover. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle on top of casserole. Top with parsley. Bake 15 min longer.
