Buttercream icing

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 - 1/2 cups icing sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cornstarch & water in small saucepan over medium heat. Stir till thickened 2-3 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
Beat butter & vanilla u til light & fluffy. Beat in cornstarch mixture. Gradually add icing sugar - beat until light & fluffy. Spread on cake.
