Lemon Bars

These are easy to make and SO good!

  • Crust:

  • 2

    cups flour

  • ½

    cup powdered sugar

  • 1

    cup (2 sticks) butter

  • Filling:

  • 4

    beaten eggs

  • 2

    cups granulate sugar

  • cup lemon juice

  • ¼

    cup flour

  • ½

    tsp baking powder


Crust: Sift together flour & powdered sugar. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press in to an un-greased 13x9x2" baking pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes (or until lightly browned) Filling: Stir together eggs, sugar & lemon juice. Mix (or sift) flour and baking powder in separate bowl. Combine with egg mixture. Poor on baked crust & bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool & cut in to bars.
