Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) can unsweetened 2 tsp. soy sauce
- pineapple chucks(packed 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic
- in juice) 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 lb. boneless,skinless 1 small onion quartered
- chicken breasts 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c chicken broth 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar 1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Drain pineapple , reserving the juice. Cut chicken into bite size pieces and place in a saucepan. Add reserved juice, broth,vinegar,brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic. Cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add vegetables and pineapple. Cook 1o minutes stirring occasionally. Combine cornstarch and water. Gradually stir into hot mixture. Continue to cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve over rice or noddles.
