"Mexican Style Chicken Breast Pan Fry

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast ( boneless,skinless) - 1/2 kg / 1 lb
  • Dried Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Onion Powder / Vengaya Podi - 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic Powder / Poondu Podi - 1/4 tsp
  • Paprika or Kashmiri Red Chili Powder - 1 to 1 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper Powder / Milagu Podi - 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder / Seeraga Podi - 1 tsp
  • Olive Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Sea Salt / Crystal Salt - to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Wash well the chicken breast in water with the little turmeric for 3 to 4 times.
For marinating the chicken,firstly,take all the ingredients except chicken in a bowl.
Mix well the ingredients.
Add chicken breast and coat the spices over the chicken thoroughly.Marinate the chicken for minimum 1 hour.You can marinate the chicken overnight.
Take a skillet or wide pan and heat it.once it hot, just drizzle some oil and add the chicken breast pieces along with the marinating spices. Let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes on one side over medium flame.
Flip to the other side and again cook it for 5 to 7 minutes or until the chicken get cooked well.
Yummy chicken breast fry is ready to serve now. Serve along with rice or with any of your favorite dish.
