Ingredients

  • 5 cans of cut green beans
  • 1/2 pound of bacon, cut into pieces and cooked
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 2/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 7 teaspoons of soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

1. Open the cans of green beans, drain them, and pour them into the slow cooker. Add the cooked bacon on top of the green beans.
2. Melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder to make a thick sauce. Drizzle the sauce over the green beans.
3. Cook the green beans on high for about an hour. Stir the green beans just before serving to mix up all of the ingredients.
4. Enjoy! I will be making this again in just a couple of weeks for Thanksgiving dinner with my side of the family!
