Ingredients
- 1 can pillsbury crescent rolls
- 3/4 can of apple pie filling
- 1 teaspoon heavy whipping cream
- Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon apple juice
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Unroll crescent rolls onto a large sheet of parchment paper to fit a cookie sheet.
Using knife, cut strips 1' inch apart up and down both sides of crescent roll. Place the pie filling down the center where there are no cuts. Wrap each slice up and over the filling., over lapping. Pinch ends shut using a fork.
Brush the outside of crescent roll with whipping cream and sprinkle with sugar. Place the strudel on parchment paper.
Bake for 15 to 16 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely before glazing .
To make glaze: whisk powdered sugar, vanilla and apple juice.
Drizzle over strudel, slice, and serve.
