Summer Jello Dessert - Linda's File

Ingredients

  • 1 Large package Strawberry Jello or 2 small packages - I use sugar free
  • 1 Pint frozen strawberries (thawed)
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple (smallest size)
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 1 pint sour cream (I use fat free)

Preparation

Step 1

1) Dissolve strawberry jello with 1 cup boiling hot water.
2) Stir in strawberries, crushed pinneapple and bananas
3) Take 1/4 of the mixture and put into a 9X12 cake pan or casserole dish
4) Put the mixture in the dish into the refrigerator and wait until it is firm.
5) Once the 1/4 mixture is firm, take 1 pint of sour cream and spread evenly over the 1/4 firmed up mixture.
6) Pour the remaining jello mixture over the sour cream and spread evenly.

7) Refrigerate until firm. Can be served with whipped cream if desired. Great summer salad dish.
