Marshmallow Fondant Recipe

Ingredients

  • 400 gm marshmallows (white for white fondant)
  • 4 tblsp water
  • 800 gm icing sugar
  • copha, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Place marshmallows in a large microwavable bowl. Pour water over the marshmallows. Stir.
Microwave for 1-2 minutes. Stir until the marshmallows are melted.
Stir through 600gm icing sugar.
Pour melted copha (about 4 tblsp) onto your work bench.
Put 200 gm icing sugar on the copha and pour the melted marshmallows onto the icing sugar. Start kneading (or working) the marshmallow, incorporating the remaining icing sugar. Add more icing sugar if it is too soft.
Knead for approx 10 minutes.
