Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. flour, divided
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb round steak
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup low sodium beef broth
- 1/2 cup skim milk
Preparation
Step 1
Stir together 1/2 cup flour and the pepper. dredge steak in the mixture until coated in flour.
Heat the oil in a skillet and quickly cook the meat on both sides until the lour gets brown and crispy.
Remove from skillet. Shake together the broth, milk and remaining 2 Tbsp.. flour. Add to the skillet. Cook and stir until thickened, scraping any bits of meat and browned flour from the bottom.
