Nicole's Cheese Spread

This spread actually gets better as it sets. For best results, make it up a day or two in advance. I got the recipe from Nicole Young. It is a tradition in her family.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 large jar real mayonnaise
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- Dash of Garlic Salt
- 1 canned jalapeno, minced
Preparation
Step 1
Combine grated cheese, chopped onions and minced jalapeno (do not use seeds) in large bowl. Add mayonnaise until you get the desired consistency. You will want it pretty soft, because it will firm up as it chills. Season with a couple shakes of garlic salt. Chill before serving.
