Ingredients
- Slow Cooker Size:
- 3-4 lb. Black Forest ham half
- 2 lbs. peeled and cut sweet potatoes (I cut mine 1/2 inch thick)
- 1 (20-oz.) can sliced pineapple, (the juices from the can get added to the slow cooker too)
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 6-quart or larger
Preparation
Step 1
dd the ham first into the slow cooker. Add half of the sweet potatoes slices around the ham. Slice the pineapple rings in half, and place on top of the sweet potatoes. Add the remaining sweet potatoes on top of the pineapple.
Sprinkle over the cinnamon and brown sugar. Pour over the pineapple juices that were left in the can of pineapple.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
Remove the ham and cut into slices.
Serve and enjoy!
