Farmers Sandwich with Chorizo Sausage, Egg, Ham and Jalapeno Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 bagels
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 pack of chorizo sausage links
  • 4 asparagus spears, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 container of cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped pickled jalapenos
  • pepper
  • creole seasoning
  • extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

Step 1


Mix cream cheese and diced jalapenos, sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper and set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat add about 1 tablespoon of olive oil, add sausage and fry until cooked through, remove from pan and set aside.

Add vegetables to pan and saute for about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside, add ham and cook for about 2 minutes, remove and set aside. Add a little more oil and fry egg, lightly sprinkled with creole and black pepper. Top with sharp cheddar cheese.

Toast bagel, spread with jalapeno cream cheese and add all the other topping, slice and enjoy.
